Our doors are closing.

Operating from our small pilot site in Rochdale since the summer of 2017, the team at Lo-Dough have produced over 5 million bases for our loyal customers to help them achieve their diet and lifestyle goals. 

Our intention has always been to make Lo-Dough more affordable for our customers and, at the same time, produce it in a much more cost efficient way by moving to a new, purpose designed facility using our bespoke manufacturing technology.

Like so many businesses, we have faced a challenging trading environment through 2022. These difficult market conditions have had a direct impact on trading performance and investment decisions and as a result earlier this year we had to delay our move to the new facility. 

With the impact of rising costs and squeezed household incomes set to continue, we have now had to make the very difficult decision to close down our pilot manufacturing site and wind down our business operations. 

Our priority is to support our brilliant team of people over this very difficult period. From a kitchen table to a garage laboratory and through to our pilot site, we’ve been on an incredible shared journey, one that’s involved so many talented and passionate people. Lo-Dough colleagues past and present, we salute and thank you for all you have given and all you’ve achieved. Together you’ve created a culture that has given us the most rewarding few years of our professional lives and there is much we can all feel incredibly proud about. 

To our customers - a huge and heartfelt thank you. Your support, feedback, creativity and loyalty has been amazing.

As it stands we are anticipating that our online shop will continue to operate as normal until Thursday 20th October with final orders dispatched on Friday 21st October. This is of course subject to stock availability.

We are also working with our retail partners who have been such an important point of sale for many of our customers and who have seen us successfully roll out our brand on a national scale and will continue to update you on their stock availability.

To our suppliers, ambassadors and affiliates - thank you for your invaluable contribution, collaboration and enthusiasm for Project Lo-Dough. Your support and understanding over the years and especially through this difficult period is very much appreciated. 

We are committed to keeping all stakeholders informed as appropriate over the next couple of weeks and to ending this phase of our journey with respect and appreciation.
